| I ordered the white Evolution handheld showerhead. It was pretty easy to install. I turned on the water, pulled up on the flow diverter on the faucet and everything seemed fine. I tried all the different push button options, and turned the shower head from the vertical to the horizontal position. The water pressure coming out of the showerhead was ok, but not impressive. Then I noticed water leaking up around the plastic pipe connections. I went through every joint, adding the silicone wrap to ALL the threads, and tightening slightly (I know enough not to overdo it...). Next time I turned the water on the large plastic ring (with the metal ball joint inside), split. Not to be deterred (because I HATE having to return items), I tried 'tommy-taping' everything, to no avail. If you order one of these, make sure all your connections are metal, and not just metal-painted plastic. The plastic parts obviously don't stand up to the back pressure and you will wind up squandering your hoped-for savings on return shipping. And despite the big blue "STOP READ THIS FIRST" paper in the box, don't bother calling Oxygenics; they said it was Amazon's problem, not theirs. |

| Hello, I just received my shower head last night and so far I am very impressed. Installation was a breeze. I think it took me about 10 minutes including the removal of my old one. the handheld is very light weight and the chrome color is attractive. the length of the hose seems to be fine. I've read that some people feel like it is not long enough to wash their pets with it. I myself have no plan to wash any pets or domesticated farm animals in my shower so I think it will be fine. ; ) there are 4 spray options as you know. if you'd like to see them in action, go to youtube and search for it. There are a few videos showing it in action. I can't believe that this is a low flow showerhead because the pressure is very strong. the pushbutton works very well and is easier to use than trying to grab the whole face and rotate it as you would have to with other brands. I know that it is made of a plastic, but it does seem pretty solid. Of course I cannot comment too much on the workmanship and quality as i've only used it twice. but i've got a good feeling. also, the weirdest thing happened after showering with it, my skin felt tingly for about 15 minutes after i was done. Maybe this is due to the having oxygen infused into the water as it sprays? Don't get me wrong, it felt good this has just never happened to me before. At any rate, this is a great showerhead and I am very happy with it. Highly recommended. Enjoy! |
